AnimState / University of Nebraska Survey
Hey there!
We here at AnimState are excited to announce another opportunity for members to share their experiences and participate in the research of the game industry! We have partnered again* with Adam Clark, and additionally University of Nebraska-Lincoln-affiliated Mike Schiwart, in order to help them in their investigation into the development of creative agency within the video game animation industry.
What is the purpose?
The purpose of this research is to gain a better understanding of the relationship between creative agency, work environment, and work engagement in the field of video game animation by incorporating survey data with responses collected from a focus group and one-on-one in-depth interviews.
Do I qualify?
We are looking for individuals that:
Have worked in some capacity in the games animation industry in a recognized game development studio.
Are 19 years of age or older
What would my role be?
If you decide to participate, your role would include:
Filling out four surveys telling us a bit about yourself, and your experiences related to this topic
Participating in a one-time, 60-minute focus group session
An optional, 60-minute one-on-one interview after the focus group
Your role in this study is entirely voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw and/or end your participation at any time. Furthermore, if there are any questions asked that make you uncomfortable or you just don’t feel like answering, you may choose not to answer them and still continue your participation.
What can I expect to gain from this?
For this study, there are no expected rewards and/or immediate benefits to one’s self for participating. However, we believe that the empirical results of this study will overall benefit the working conditions in the games animation industry.
